Board games
The Board Game Room (BGR) returns for an eighth year with a full schedule of games you can register for. The BGR is open to all registered NOVA Open attendees, and has a full library of games available for checkout throughout the convention. As a bonus, almost all of our events are free!
We are excited to partner with North Star Games, makers of Evolution: Climate and Wits and Wagers, to host an Exclusive Pre-Kickstarter Learn-ament of their upcoming game Nature. Entry into this two-round "Learn-a-ment" will give you a chance to win a very special prototype copy of the game before it even launches on Kickstarter this fall. No experience is required, Northstar Games will be on hand to teach the game
Additionally, we are pleased to partner with Dexlite to host Washington D.C. Board Games Championship Series! The winner of these free tournaments will get a trophy, a copy of the game, plus a seat at the final round of the Northeast Regional Championship at DEXLITE 2025 (as well as a free badge to DEXLITE 2025)!
